Mercury Fields opens a dialog between science and religion. It takes place in the future on Mars and Mercury. After indroducing you to the characters the intrigue begins. Twists and turns take you from one character to another to find out who is trying to destroy the Mars station and why. Unexpected love tests the scientific and religious minded. The suspense builds dramatically towards the end. This is a book that is hard to put down and I didn't want to end.

A sequel superior to the original

It is unusual when a sequel is superior to the original novel. As much as I loved A BREATH OF RAPTURE, MERCURY FIELDS is better! Such an awesome take on the ridiculous notion of The Rapture. For those who didn't drink the Kool-Aid of fundamentalism, this is the book to read.
